ProgenyHealth President & CEO, Dr. Ellen Stang, Received the Roosevelt Award for Service to Humanity from the March of Dimes

Philadelphia, PA (November 16, 2017) – The March of Dimes honored Ellie Stang, MD at the organization’s annual Philadelphia Signature Chefs Gala at The Please Touch Museum in Philadelphia. Dr. Stang was presented with the Roosevelt Award for Service to Humanity. This award recognizes an individual who exemplifies commitment to the community through volunteer service and excellence in his or her field.

As a board-certified pediatrician, Dr. Stang sees the impact that premature birth can have on the lives of babies and their families. In 2003, Dr. Stang founded ProgenyHealth® to address the need for improved care management and health outcomes for premature and medically complex newborns. Today, ProgenyHealth works with NICUs in all fifty states and is a recognized leader in deploying evidence-based neonatal care management services. The March of Dimes is proud to honor Dr. Stang with the Roosevelt Award for Service to Humanity for her achievements and leadership in promoting the mission of the March of Dimes.
