ProgenyHealth – Our Year in Review
The beginning of a new year is always a great time to consider where we have been and where we want to go. Before we jump into what we want for the future and those New Year resolutions, we should pause and celebrate all that we accomplished during the past year. ProgenyHealth enjoyed much success in 2016.
We experienced outstanding growth in several areas of our business: clients, infrastructure, and workforce. We added new clients and expanded existing client accounts by managing the health and wellbeing of many more NICU babies. Our most recent additions have included health plans in Massachusetts, South Carolina, Michigan, and Hawaii. The ProgenyHealth office in suburban Philadelphia also grew with additional space and talented people to accommodate our business expansion. Surging ahead by 87%, our workforce continues to be one of our most valuable investments. We hired physicians, nurses, and social workers; and added key leadership positions in Quality/Compliance, Technology, Implementation, and Medical Management.
In the IT arena, we made a significant upgrade to our network infrastructure and integrated new and improved security appliances. We initiated a major project to enhance Baby Trax, which documents our clinical cases and affords us the opportunity to review and designate best practices. Also, our IT Department took the lead in installing a new phone system which offers improved communication channels and robust reporting capabilities. Finally, we launched our mobile app, providing a new engagement vehicle with which our Case Managers can reach families.
As an additional opportunity to connect with our customers, we introduced an electronic newsletter that addresses important NICU topics such as: the healthcare costs associated with a NICU stay, neonatal abstinence syndrome, breastfeeding, and health literacy. We continue to work hard to add value to each of our client’s NICU Care Management Program; and our Client Satisfaction surveys are consistently acknowledging this dedication with high scores. In the last year of our survey, our overall satisfaction score across all clients was quite strong at 94%.
ProgenyHealth had an outstanding year of achievements in 2016. We continue to value every relationship and thank you for your role in our amazing year.
