Vice President of IT and Healthcare Informatics
As ProgenyHealth’s Vice President of IT and Informatics, Jim Clarke oversees the strategic planning and execution of the company’s software development operations, healthcare informatics, infrastructure, and security operations.
Jim has over 15 years of progressive leadership experience in the areas of Software Development, IT Security & Compliance, and Data Analytics. Prior to joining ProgenyHealth, Jim was a Software Engineering Manager at Lockheed Martin. His contributions there were in the areas of engineering Software Systems, Business Intelligence & Master Data Management, Data Analytics, Business Automation, and Process Improvement for a broad portfolio of products and services. Jim started his career at Lockheed Martin as an intern through the Marcus C. Hansen fellowship award. He is a graduate of the Engineering Leadership Development Program (ELDP) and completed the Chief Engineering pipeline certificate program.
Jim earned his Master of Software Engineering degree from Penn State University, School of Graduate Professional Studies. In Jim’s free time, he is an Adjunct Professor at Penn State Abington where he teaches Information Science and Technology courses.
Jim also brings a unique, personal perspective to ProgenyHealth as he and his wife experienced the NICU environment twice with the birth of their sons, Jimmy and Johnny.
