Alec DiDonato

Alec DiDonato serves as Chief Operating Officer of ProgenyHealth, where he leads the company's operational strategy and execution. He works across the organization to enhance operational excellence, support continued growth, drive innovation, and ensure the delivery of exceptional service and outcomes for health plans, providers, and the families ProgenyHealth serves nationwide. 

Alec brings more than fifteen years of healthcare services operating experience across Medicaid, Medicare Advantage, and value-based care, with a focus on scaling clinical programs while improving quality, efficiency, and client outcomes. 

Prior to joining Progeny Health, Alec served as Chief Operating Officer of Author Health, a value-based behavioral health company serving Medicare beneficiaries, where he led the company through a period of rapid growth in patients served and payer partnerships.  

Previously, Alec spent more than a decade at Evolent Health in a series of general management roles, most recently as General Manager and Senior Vice President of Evolent Administrative Services, where he led a national payer services business spanning utilization management, care management, claims, and payment integrity for health plans.  

Earlier in his career, Alec was a strategy and operations consultant at Booz Allen Hamilton. 

Alec earned his Bachelor of Arts in International Economics and Finance from The Catholic University of America.
