Brian Ko
Chief Financial Officer
As Chief Financial Officer, Brian is responsible for all finance functions and for the overall financial strategy to meet ProgenyHealth’s growth goals and deliver on the company’s value proposition. His primary responsibilities include accounting, audit, analysis, budgetary operations, treasury and general corporate finance. Brian is both a catalyst for change and a facilitator of organizational stability. His career spans more than 20 years of varied experience as a healthcare executive and consultant driving growth, continuous improvement, profitability and corporate development activities.
Before joining ProgenyHealth, Brian served as Chief Financial Officer for AmeriBest Home Care where he led all aspects of finance and supported key operational initiatives. Under his leadership, the company built an internal accounting function, implemented ERP and patient management systems, transitioned to a managed Medicaid environment, and more than doubled revenue and earnings. Prior to that, Brian held executive positions as Chief Financial Officer of Life Choice Hospice and as VP of Strategy and Analysis at TridentUSA Health Services. He also served as a financial operating partner at Graham Partners, a private investment firm, and held senior level client service roles at both Alvarez & Marsal and Ernst & Young.
Brian earned a bachelor’s degree in Finance and Operations Management from Washington University in St. Louis and a Master’s in Accountancy from the University of Notre Dame. He is a CPA in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
