Thomas Lundquist, MD, MMM, FAAP, FACPE

Chief Medical Officer

Dr. Lundquist is an experienced health care senior executive with nearly 30 years of progressive, strategic, operational, and fiscal leadership across diverse health care sectors. His work has spanned early phase innovative health care companies, integrated health care delivery systems, managed care organizations, large self-insured national & international employers, and state & county government agencies. Dr. Lundquist’s experience includes successful tenures as the Chief Medical Officer for both Highmark Health and Sentara Health Plans.

In his role at ProgenyHealth, Dr. Lundquist brings his passion for supporting individuals and their families throughout the maternity and NICU journeys. His responsibilities include leading the ProgenyHealth medical management program, ensuring superior performance and outcomes. He provides leadership and actively collaborates with the Quality and NICU Payment Validation teams, promoting clinical excellence and operational efficiency.

Dr. Lundquist completed his Doctor of Medicine at The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and completed his residency at the Johns Hopkins Children’s Center. He received his master’s degree in medical management from the Heinz College of Information Systems and Public Policy at Carnegie Mellon University. He earned his Bachelor of Science from The Pennsylvania State University as a Schreyer Honors College Scholar.

Throughout his career, Dr. Lundquist has and continues to serve on numerous boards of directors and advisory committees. He is a fellow of the American Association for Physician Leadership and a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
